Scottish Arts Council 'New Writer's Bursary' 2007

In June I was one of ten writers to receive the 'New Writer's Bursary' for 2007, which will go towards funding the second book.

I was one of two writers chosen by the Scottish Arts Council/National Library of Scotland in 2004 to go to the Hotel Chevillon, an artists' colony at Grez-sur-Loing, near Paris. 

I spent two great months there and, as well as meeting some exceptional people, produced a clutch of thirty poems which will, I hope, form the third and final part of the first collection, to be published in 2008.
